Advanced Process Control
Advanced process control is at the basis of process optimization. MAGION has developed a five-step-approach. This procedure starts with tuning of the existing control loops and ends with implementation of a control strategy which focuses on product quality and profitability.

Product and material movement
Keeping track of the movement of products and material between locations can be quite a complex task. By introducing (semi) automated tasks we can alleviate these task for the operator if and where required. We have successfully introduced Terminal Automation and Offsites Applications for some of our oil and gas clients. These applications include oil movement, blending and accounting systems.

Process simulation and training
Our process simulation solutions can be applied to your production process in multiple levels of detail. By using our solutions you can analyze your production process, investigate the impact of changes to the process before the hardware is modified, provide realistic operator training to your people etc. We can also provide services for your existing process simulation system.
Decision support
Within the process industry, control decision are very often taken under considerable (time)pressure. Crucial in this decision making process is the availability of relevant knowledge of and information about the process. We at MAGION are specialized in implementing real-time decision support systems for the process industry. Our solutions are typically business and time critical and support tasks such as monitoring, diagnosis, planning and prediction. We employ a number of tools to develop intelligent software solutions, including Gensym's G2® environment, for real time applications.
